Pen & Sword is a hybrid of classic Tower Defence games and Shoot 'em up logic, laid out in a top down 2D medieval fantasy setting! You play as a taxman from the modern day, transported here by a mysterious portal and hired by the king to collect the taxes from his people.

Using the taxes gathered from the people of this land, build up the defences around the king's castle to fend off the revolting peasants of the land!
